Have you ever been sitting by the fire on a cold and windy day? Have you ever been so relieved that the fire in front of you is giving you warmth to protect you from the cold? Something that has been on my mind and heart lately has been how God is like a fire. Not only does he keep me warm in a cold world but also i think of Him as a fire within my heart. There are days when the fire is like a blazing inferno and i feel all holy and i want to please Him and i just feel like a Christian. However, i also have those days that i feel just empty! Like the fire of the Lord is going out. I feel as though i cant put enough into it to spark it back up again. I am at once filled with a lonliness that can not be explained. Then i read the Bible and talk to certain friends and i feel as though the fire has been reborn within me! I feel the fire blaze once again. Something i have been working on is focusing on Him so i will never let the flames go out. I challenge all who read this to focus on God's amazing love to rekindle your fire and to always be "on fire for Christ"!!!!!!!!!!
